Dear Parish Family,

We have much to be thankful for at St. Norbert. Our parish community has a rich
history of worship, prayer, evangelization, and service for over 60 years. Our
campus is a welcoming place where we bring together our life and our faith. We live
out our call to discipleship here through celebration of the Mass and the sacraments,
engaging in our parish school and faith formation programs as well as volunteering
in our diverse ministries. It is such a blessing to be your pastor and witness each day
how our community of missionary disciples lives out the Church’s mission.
Our buildings provide us protection, lighting, heat, seating, and space to live our
faith in community. The maintenance of our facilities is carried out with much
care, as they enhance our experiences and bring us closer to God as we share the
Gospel. However, we are in need of replacing a portion of the flat roof on the
school building. This will help to ensure that we can continue to provide a Catholic
education for many children for years to come. In addition, we would like to make
some changes to the main church by replacing the crucifix and renovating the old
blessed sacrament chapel into a reliquary and prayer room. All additional money
would be placed in a restricted account reserved for future maintenance needs.
For these reasons, after thorough discernment and consultation, we are embarking on an improvement campaign to raise $600,000.00, that will allow us to be more responsive to our parish needs and mission and to continue to grow God’s Kingdom here at St. Norbert.
Whether you are new to the parish, or have been
here from the beginning, I ask you to prayerfully reflect on how you have been blessed by this parish. I invite you to prayerfully consider how you are able to contribute your financial gifts to this crucial effort for our parish and join with me in praying for the success of our campaign.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration and generous support for our parish as we look to the future with hope.

Blessings in Christ,

Fr. Peter Faimega, Pastor
